H4 EAD validity if govt makes a decision on April 2

Hello -

My wife is currently working on H4 EAD now and it will expire on April 16 2018.

If the law passes that H1B spouse is not allowed to work, will her existing EAD get revoked? OR can she continue to work until EAD expires.

If the law does not pass before her EAD expiration date i.e. April 16 2018, will she be able eligible to extend her EAD.
