H4 -COS -i539 Form - Not working, Paystubs - Status issues?

Hi All,

Need urgent help in below: i539 question.

Details:
H4 Extension was applied Nov 2018
H1B approved with COS on May 2019(Filed in 2018 cap,approved for 2years)
H4 approved on Nov 2019(H4 petition filed in Nov 2018) so currently am in H4 now
I was in H1B from May-Oct and i didn’t get any projects and was not paid at the same time i was pregnant and expecting.

In i539 there is a question as below am confused to answer :
14. Have you or any other person included in this application,been employed in the United States since last admitted or granted an extension or change of status? Yes /No

** If you answered Yes to item number 14. fully describe the employment in Part 8. Additional information. Include the name of the person employed,name and address of the employer,weekly income and whether the employment was specifically authorized by USCIS ?**

So what should be my answer to this question?

Well, if you have not worked then you technically violated status.

When you filed, you should have answered Yes, as you were working and submitted proofs of maintaining status on H1B.

Discuss with an attorney and take corrective action by exiting country and re-entering, before it is too late…
