My husband got his I140 and I planned to apply for ead, I was not aware h4 and h4 ead forms had to be submitted together and I submitted for ead before receiving h4
I now got rfe on the ead, should I revoke the ead or write to uscis letting them know that I have started h4 process and ask if they can hold the ead request?
You can submit the H4 application receipt notice along with the RFE and say that it was a genuine mistake. They may consider. Worst case, you an always apply for another EAD along with your H4 application. This way, you lose fees, but at least you have a backup. You can put in letter in second one also indicating the same.
