Hi there, My relative had a shoplifting charge which was eventually downgraded to an ordinance violation. We is planning to visit india this month. Could anyone please let us know if there would be any issues at the port of entry. We have all the court documents with us.
You are okay to travel unless a legal order has directed you not to do so. The CBP computers will show ‘no fly’ data in case a traveller has international flight restrictions. An ordinance violation does not fall into the restricted flight category.
