I am attending my H1B interview on 30th, 2014 & 31st, 2014 of this month (Oct 2014) with my husband. My comapny is sponsoring the visa & my husband is coming as a dependent. I have few questions here…
a. My husbands visa under B2 was rejected some 4 years back under 124(b) due to some insufficient docs as a reason. Since we are applying for my husband visa again now under H4 category I want to know if it affects any of our visa in any way…
b. My husbands sibling (Elder sister) is settled in USA with Green card , people say it affects his visa as they might assume that he will try to settle down there. Please guide me on this, I am worried…
c. While scheduling the interview, there is a typo (additonal character in his name) added. We called up to toll free number of USC. They said either you can cancel and update the record and re schedule it or you can attend the interview and ask the consulate to update by showing passport as they would have access to update. ---- Here we chose to attend the interview and ask tehm to update the typo error — Any chances of rejection here ???
Since this case is slightly specific, I really would appreciate your answer to my queries as soon as possible… as my interview is very close by. Please kindly put your opinion here…
