H1B visa interview at Singapore or India?

Dear Friends,

Am working at singapore more than 2 years now, i am going to attend Visa interview.

Please provide your valuable inputs on the below queries

  1. please suggest if attending interview in singapore or India is better?

  2. If i attend here in singapore Consultate how is the success rate and for some reason if i get some visa query and in mean time if i moved out of singapore then in that situation how can i proceed with further communication/process of Singapore consulate? Is it possible to continue the further process at India?

  3. If i attend in India by taking one week leave, but on the day of interview if the VO takes my passport and did not return it for admin process for more than a week say if it takes 3 weeks. And due to this i may not come back to singapore and have chance of loosng singapore employment.

Please suggest on this.

Hi Ramesh,

You should be following your I-797 notice in this matter. Give preference to the consulate mentioned in the notice. As long as you are legally staying on employment in singapore, you can attend for stamping. Go through the website ustraveldocs.com for more info. Good luck!
