H1B Transferred but not joining new employer

Hi,

I received offer from a big company and they transferred (cap exempt petition based on earlier approval) my H1B visa, petition has been approved by USCIS.

Now my current employer is willing to retain me and I’ll willing to continue with my employer as well.

Can I continue with my current employer? Shall I be able to swtich employer after a year or so since a new petition has also been approved for new employer, which I’m not going to join?

Kindly suggest.

Yes, you can continue with your current employer assuming that they have not withdrawn your H-1B and it has not expired. You are not required to join the new employer.
