H1b transfer_premium process

Hi Team

Currently my visa is valid till 2016,Sep 30th from my employer ‘X’.iam still in India not yet travelled , now I applied for h1b transfer in premium mode with another employer ‘Y’.i have few queries here

My Petetion end date also 2016,sept 30th

1)do i need to attend consulate interview again ?

2)incase my visa transfer fails can I travel to US with my old Petetion itself from employer ‘X’.

  1. If you have to enter US after Sep 30, then another visa stamping is required. If you are entering prior to Sep 30, then you can use current visa stamp along w/ Y’s newly approved petition.

  2. Yes, but only if X wants you to travel to US and work for them on H-1B.
