I am in India and have got H1B visa stamped for me and H4 for my spouse and kid. We are suppose to travel on Oct 1 2014.
But I have also cleared interview of a top notch US firm (just for anonymity reasons not mentioning the name, but it is like Google, Facebook, Microsoft) and now they are asking me to submit documents for H1B transfer. The offer is superb, totally awesome. All of my knowns have mentioned that it is risky as on the port of entry. So my questions are:
-
Do I need to go for re-stamping as I am still in India. If yes, could there be chances of rejection (though the brand is big). In case US consulate rejects the new stamping, will my old stamping be still valid

Another safer option could be to ask the new company to mention the joining date as 15th Dec, so that I can get 2 paystubs and pass them to new company to initiate the transfer.
Please suggest.
