H1B Transfer and Extension expiring

Hi

I am on H1B with Employer A. My H1B is expiring by Aug 11th 2019 and Employer A has filed my extension and approval is still pending. I got an offer from employer B. If they initiate the transfer before Aug 11th and approval doesn’t come before Aug 11 th. Can I still join the Employer B. What if they do the transfer process after Aug 11th is it valid to join employer B or should I join only after approval.

You can join them with the H1B receipt and start working…After Aug 11th, your I-94 would have expired and you may fall under Bridge or you may not too as you applied before the I-94 expiry…But, it can be tricky here, I would suggest you discuss this with Attorney at Employer B to get clarity before you join. Better thing is to get them to file before Aug 11th and do it as premium and join then…
