I had my H1B stamping on Jan 9th 2023 in Mumbai. How long it takes to get the Visa stamped passport back from consulate through premium delivery? I have a flight back on January 23rd. I checked on their website and it says “Your passport is still with us”. The case from their side was created on January 11th.
Generally it take 1-3 weeks to get the passport back. You can send an email to the consulate explaining your situation and request to expedite passport delivery.
I mailed them, still no reply. What can be done next?
Send email to your senator and explain your situation. Their office will follow up with the concerned consulate.
