H1B Stamping Renewal in Matamoros, Mexico

Hello,

I came on F1 in 2005, got my 1st H1B in 2009, stamping done in India in Jan 2010.

Transfererd H1B twice in Dec 2010 and Dec 2011.

Currect H1B stamping expires in JAn 2013 and I need to Renew it.

I am in TX, close to Mexico border and am planning to do my 2nd time H1B stamping in Matamoros, Mexico.

What are my requirements and how safe it is? I dont have a Mexico Visa.

As this is not your first H-1 stamping, it should be relatively safer. Still have back-up plans in case 221g is issued or the consulate refuses to interview you.
