H1B Stamping in India - Lost I-797.. Options????

My I-797 was lost by Fedex when my attorney mailed it across to me in India. If you can please suggest options available for me to get the required VISA stamping and possibly hasslefree immigration.

Your attorney will have to get a duplicate from USCIS and then send it to you.

Seriously, FedEx lost the receipt?

Any Idea how much time it takes to get a duplicate copy? Is there something “Employers copy of I -797” ?? Can that be used for VISA stamping?

Yeah, sadly FedEx did this… I am surprised as well.

They will have to file form I-824. You can search this form online on USCIS website and then look for processing times in your service center.
