H1b slots in India

Hi,

I have valid H1B approval (I797A) till April 2022 and my previous H1B VISA stamp has expired. I am currently working in USA. Can I visit India and get a new H1B stamp this year? Are the H1B slots open at US consulates in India?

I am kinda in the same boat as you. I have changed company and the new visa would be filed for a new company. Please do let know in case you find out

Hi,

I too have the same situation my extension got approved on July 20 and is valid till 2023 and my previous H1B stamped visa expired on Feb 2020. I am planning to travel to India in the month of November and return back by December. please let me know if you got any updates.
