I got a situation. I came to US in 2009 for doing MS. And, before completing MS, in 2011 I got a job in Chicago and worked there for an year and returned back to India after OPT expired, without completing M.S. And, in 2014 December I completed my MS in Computer Science(one final online course) from India and will get my diploma in another month or two. I’m now in India,is it possible to apply for H1B visa in the master’s quota?

I also want to know if University of Texas at Dallas is accredited to apply for H1B visa under Master’s quota using the degree from UT Dallas.

If you are officially graduated (proof is required) before your H1B petition, you can apply for H1 under US masters quota. If not you cant.

But here is a trick you may want to consider is… file your regular H1B(if you dont have the degree awarded before it) and amend it ( once you get the degree) for MS degree quota.
