H1b petition validity - 2013 cap

I am in India and have new h1b petition approved for 3 years oct 2013-2016. I have applied in the 2013 cap. I do not have a stamped visa since my employer is still looking for a project for me.

My question is

 

Do I have a time limitation, like I have to enter the US within one year of the petition start date else my petition will no longer be valid? And again I have to apply for a new petition in the next cap?

Or I have time till sept 2016 to look for a project, get visa stamped and enter the US?

You can go for stamping at anytime before the petition expires.

You don’t have to apply for any new petitions till this is valid.
