H1B petition-Passport valid for 1.7 years, will i get stamping till then?

Hi,

I have petition for 3 years i.e till 2015 , however my passport expires July 2014.

Will i get stamping for 3 years or till the date my passport is valid. What should i do in case i cant get stamping for 3 years.
