H1B Petition approved and lost the employment with current company

Hello Everyone,

I have some exceptional scenario. I have approved petition with me for 3 years [from oct'13 to Sep'16]. But, Unfortunately I have lost my employment with my current company and I did not go for stamping.

questions:

  1. Can I schedule interview with Embassy and attend interview for visa stamping? If yes please let me know the process.

  2. Can I transfer my petition to some other company? If yes is there any companies/consultancies which can do the transfer in my case.

also please help with your suggestions.

Note: Currently I am in india and never been in to us.

  2. Yes, you can find a new employer and he has to file new petition for you. Process is similar to H1B transfer.
