H1B normal to premium processing

Hello

I am in L1 visa right now working in US, I have applied for H1 through a different employer and my case got into lot and it is still in “Initial Review”. My current employer may call me back after OCT 15th. Do you suggest upgrading my petition to Premium processing now? Or shall I wait some more time?

Is it a big deal to upgrade my case to premium processing? Or it is just filing the form and paying the extra money? Thanks for your suggestions.

You or employer can upgrade to PP so that you know the result before Oct 15 and can make appropriate decision. It is not a big deal but some employers are averse to it.
