Heard H1 lottery selection is done. Can I ask the employer regarding my application status ?? How much time does it take for the employer to receive the receipt ???
If filed in PP, they should know within next couple of weeks.
If filed in RP, they should know within next 2-3 months.
If not selected, they should know by July-Aug.

I am waiting to hear if my file was picked during the lottery. I belong to regular H1b category. Really nervous and the wait can be stressful.
