H1b for a person with a US masters degree but currently working overseas

Hello,

I have a Masters degree from the US and have been working for a US MNC for the past 3 years but have been unlucky in getting my H1B throughout. My company has sent me to an overseas location and will apply for my H1B this year (CY2019)

  1. While applying for a candidate with a masters degree from the US but currently working outside the US will i qualify for the same benefits as a masters candidate applying from the US?
2)What documentation is collected for applicants from outside the US? EG. Are the pay-stubs from my current location required. Do i have to submit my expired docs such as (I20, EAD, I797,F-1)
  2. Has anyone had to deal with a situation like this, if yes is the denial rate of such type of applicants higher?
  3. Any recommendations for immigration lawyers who are especially experienced in such types of cases.

Best regards,
nconcess

  1. Yes, you will
  2. No pay stubs required. Yes, they may ask for the same as supporting documentation. Check with attorney. Check general H1B Visa Petition Document Checklist
  3. It is pretty standard, nothing to worry. It all depends on the company and position you are filing for.
  4. This is a very normal standard case, any attorney would do. We do not advise on specific attorneys.
