H1B Extension from India

Hi All,

I have H1B VISA. My petition was approved in 2013 and my VISA stamped on Jun 2014. I went to US on Oct 2014 till Dec 2014. Presently I am in India. My VISA is valid till Aug. But I don’t have any plans to fly till end of year i.e. till December. My questions is,

  1. Can my VISA get extended after December. As VISA is valid only till August Month.
  2. If yes to question 1, then do my present employer has to extend it or any other employer can do it.
  3. Out of 6 years, I was actually in US only for 2 months, then is there any ex-cap to get all 6 years?
