My employer applied for my H1B extension (post 6 years) in the end of February in normal processing, which is still in pending state. I received biometrics appointment for my dependents for March 18, but USCIS closed all the Application Support Centers from that date. I am not sure if USCIS is re-using the last biometrics on file for the H1 extension cases due to COVID-19 office closures. Anyone aware of any cases where H1 extensions were approved without biometrics appointment during this time?
