I got my H1B approved in Oct 2017 and it was expired in Oct 2020 without stamping.
I work for the same company that filed my H1B.
What should I do now?
Do I have to raise an extension?
This was expired at the time of Covid.
Note - I have a valid Business visa too and I have traveled to the US twice on that.

Yes, your company can try to file for an extension using the same petition approval. This way you do not have to go through the lottery again.

If you did not had H1B stamping done, then you did not had H1B status…So, it may be tricky. This is a grey area. If you had stamping, then would have been better. Now, there are some cases, that were successful, but some were not…
