H1B change of status stamp in SFO

Hi -

I believe I may have been given incorrect info by lawyer…

I am currently on a TN visa. I have received an approval for an H1b and just need to get the stamp.

  1. I was told I can fly to cabo and fly back to SFO to get the stamp when I land at SFO

is that correct?

secondly- are there set times that the services are available? I.e. if I land at 7pm can I still do the change I status?

To clarify - I already have an approved H1b petition approval (I-797)

You mentioned TN visa, so I assume you are from Canada. I am not aware if US provides H-1 visa on arrival services to Canadians. If they do, then what your attorney said is correct. You can search online on this.
