h1b change of location

Hi All,

I have approved I797 notification and suppose to have interview for my H1B stamping. My question is my visa interview location mentioned in I797 is Chennai and I’m currently out of India. Is it possible i can change the visa interview location.

Pls advise.

Yes, you can change location. You may physically have to go the nearest embassy site to do this as computer access might create problems. Maybe call them and get it done.
