Hi Guys,
I would like to share some valuable info, I learned through the below website which might help students.
[http://www.murthy.com/2012/11/19/requirements-for-u-s-masters-graduates-to-enjoy-benefit-of-h1b-masters-cap/](http://www.murthy.com/2012/11/19/requirements-for-u-s-masters-graduates-to-enjoy-benefit-of-h1b-masters-cap/)
As per the website, private - for profit graduate degree is not eligible for H1B masters quota.
I am also a Master’s degree student from International Technological University in San Jose and the above information gave me relief and now I am happy that ITU is WASC Accredited Non-Profit University. That means the degrees earned after fall 2012 from ITU are eligible for Masters Quota and while filing Green Card, my application will fall under EB-2 (Masters) category.
Please share if anyone has further information.
