Hello,I graduated with Masters in May, 2016. I joined a company X in June, 2016. They filed a H1 application for 2016 (in April, 2016). And, in October, 2016 I moved to a new company Y. I was starting my STEM OPT extension process and my school came back to me saying that my SEVIS record was “closed” because of change of status. Then I went back to attorney firm who handle my case in 2016. They came back to me saying that I was approved H1 and they never received any receipt or approval notice. Also, the strangest thing is that, the attorney firm says that they don’t have approval notice with them (as they did not receive it in first place).Now, what are my options? How can I resolve this?
