H1B 2018 approved and I am in the USA now on my B1

Hi,

My H1B got approved and right now i am in the US on my B1 for few weeks.

How does it work now. Can I stay back here or should I come back to India right away for stamping.

Please advise !!

Your best bet is to apply for Change of Status (from B1 to H1) while in US and once you receive the receipt notice, you can start working. If your Change of status failed, you can go back home and get for stamping and enter back to US on H1.
