H1B '18 selected in lottery waiting for decision

Hi,

My application got selected in lottery. I guess I am in the waiting for decision period now.

  1. Till when can I expect to hear back? How many people have heard back approximately? Mine is new regular processing.

  2. What are the deciding factors and probability?

  3. Wanted to know about the October filling season.

The documents that you submitted are the deciding factors. If you have all possible proof/docs to support your background and experience, there should not be an issue. Certainly something is missing to prove the geniuness of your application which is causing the delay.3. Wanted to know about the October filling season.

There is no October filing season that I know of. H1B filing opens up on April 1st of every year and closes within a week.
