H1 Petiton rejection at H1 visa interview

I have currently an approved H1 petiton (first time)and will soon go for visa stamping. My questions are as follows

  1. What is meant by visa rejection ?Does it mean the petition is also rejected?

2)Will they mentioned explicitly at the interview if Visa or petition or both are rejected?

3)If visa is rejected ,can I go to the stamping again with same petition?

4)If petition is rejected can I apply a new petititon(from a different employer) under the cap exempt quota or should again go though lottery?

  1. In general, they will not reject at interview. They may give U a 221g slip and ask to produce few documents. After submission they will verify and stamp/deny accordingly

  2. They will say if its approved, else thay will give u a slip

  3. If Rejected after submission of 221G docs, U cant attend, as USCIS will revoke it

  4. Yes, U r Cap-Exempted irrespective of rejection/revocation/withdrawl for 6 years from Approval…
