Hi, I got a visa drop box appointment for H1B second time stamping along with my dependents for H4. Can my appointment be cancelled/rescheduled as I’m in US and I may or may not travel to India because of covid cases but can my dependents attend the H4 appointment without me or the entire appointment has to cancelled and a new appointment has to be made. Please clarify. Thank you.
If you currently have a single appointment for both, you will need to cancel and book separate for your spouse. The visa fees are now valid till September 30th 2023 so you can book for yourself later on.
Yes your H4 dependent can go for stamping without the primary H1B.
