Can you kindly advise me on the following?
I got my H1-B visa (in December 2002) and was in US from January 2003 till August 2007, leaving a balance of 1.4 years from the original term of 6 years. My question is:

Can I renew this H1-B visa, as my last VISA stamping on passport was valid till Jun 2008?

If I re-apply for H1-B,
a. Will my case fall in new quota or can it use existing approval?
b. For how long the new H1-B will be issued 6 years or 1.4 years?
