H1-B Changes job while H4 and H4-EAD Extension is pending

Hello,

We recently applied for H1-B/H4 and H4 EAD extension on Nov 4 in Premium processing. H1-B extension was approved, but we are still awaiting H4 and H4 EAD extension.

H1-B holder now has a job offer from another company and would like to move. Since H4 and H4EAD extension is still pending, what will be the impact once H1-B is transferred to new employer and primary applicant starts working for new company

In such situation, USCIS may send RFE to submit the copy of I-797 for the new H1B later on when they are ready to adjudicate the case and if the currently employer may have withdrawn the H1B at that time.
Alternately, you may re-file the H4 extension with H1B transfer however there is really no need to refile H4 EAD.
