H1 Approved. Got L1 after that. Will this affect my approved H1 ?

Hi There,

Employer A processed my H1 and got it approved, but I did not appear for stamping.

At the same time Employer B processed my L1 and it was approved and I travelled on L1. My question is in such a situaiton what happens to my H1. Is this petition still usable ? Please clarify.

Yes, the petition is still usable. If you are inside US, then COS can be filed from L-1 to H-1 and once approved, you can start working on H-1.

But i have travlled back to India. And the employer who filed my H1 says he cant get any recent client letter. This is stopping me from appearing for stamping. what options do i have in such a situation ?

Another employer can file cap-exempt petition for you (aka H-1 transfer) and you can then appear for stamping through them.
