H-1 B stamping in London - is it possible ?

Employer A will file my H1-B this April. I am currently in the UK.’ A’ say they will mention the Hyderabad consulate in my petition as the place where i will go for my visa stamping, if the petition is approved. My question is –

If i am still in the UK this October, can i have my visa stamped in London (or some other place within UK) even though Hyderabad is mentioned in my petition?

yes I think you can do that, one of my friends had Mumbai mentioned and he gave the interview at Hyderabad. But confirm this with your employer or attorney first.

Also, check w/ US consulate in UK. Different consulates have different policies around TCNs (third country nationals) and its better to check w/ them.
