Hi All,

Can someone kickstart GC process in the first year of H1-B Stay and comeback to native country post PERM approval.

In this case, will GC process runs regardless of his stay in US and get his eligibility and once he got I-140 Approval, can he fly back to US and continue the GC . Process. What are PROS and CONS in this mode.

Experts, Please kill this question, if it is fundamentally wrong.

Yes, this is possible if the employer supports it.

PERM and I-140 processing can take around 2 years, so employer’s support is a must during this period.

Thanks Saurabh, From employer perspective, what would be typical concerns from USCIS he can expect.

I can’t think of any additional concerns based on the fact that you will be outside of US.
