F2 dependent visa with spouse on OPT

Hello

I am on F1 visa and working full time on STEM extension OPT. MY OPT will expire on Nov 2014. I recently got married and would like to bring my wife to USA.

Does anyone have experience of applying for F2 visa while his/her partner is on OPT? Did you reject visa more often?

I remember reading few cases where F-2 visa stamp was denied and the applicant was asked to apply H-4 visa later.

Is there a particular reason, visa was denied? Or they reject it and don’t give any answer?
