Extend H1 visa beyond valid date

Hi,

  1. My H1 visa was stamped on july 6, 2012 and is valid till Sep 29, 2012. It was delayed for 14 months as it was placed under 221 g process.

  2. Can I extend my visa as I will not be able to travel before Sep 29, 2012.

  3. What is the process for extending my visa?

  1. VISA cannot be extended, you should reapply for it.

    1. If your approved H1B petition is still valid, apply for the VISA again.
