Expired H1B under 221g, extension approved - Stamping

Hi Friends,

I appeared for H1B F2F interview in Jan 2020 at Mumbai consulate, I was given a yellow slip and asked to submit client letter. Client verification happened in Mar 2020, after which the consulates got closed due to COVID.
My H1B expired in May 2020, I have followed up with the consulate multiple times but I get the same response, they ask me to wait. Its been more than 1 year now.

My H1B extension recently got approved, could you help me with the following questions:

  1. Should I go ahead with drop box (at Delhi consulate) to get my H1B visa stamped?
  2. My client already sent the verification last year, are there still chances that I may get another 221g for client verification this time?
