I’m wondering if members could post their recent experiences (i.e. 2014 or late 2013) regarding the exact duration involved in their h1b visa processing. (i.e. the number of days taken from the visa interview date to to the date you picked up your passport. Please mention the consulate you had your experience at too.Thanks!
My H1b visa interview is at 10:30AM on the 7th of August at Chennai consulate and I’m thinking of booking my ticket to the US for the 13th of August (early morning). Would this allow enough time for my passport to get ready? I live in Chennai, so picking up the passport anytime is not an issue. Also, I’m changing from F1 visa to H1B. And I’ve already held an H1B visa in the past before my H1.
