Employer not properly responding to H1b extension filing

Hi Kumar,
This is regarding my wife’s H1b extension filing. Her employer is not responding even after repeated attempts to file for H1b extension. Whenever we contact, the employer is telling us that the H1b extension is being submitted but has been never done yet. Her H1b is ending by Dec 31st 2019. She already have the client letter for the new extension period. Is there anything that we can do to deal with the employer?
