Employer not answering RFE

I have applied for h1B visa (premium processing) this year through a consultancy named Reliance Global, based in New Jersey.

They recieved RFE on April 29th and it’s been more than 2 months already and they have not yet responded to that. Whenever I call them they don’t recieve my calls and later when they call back after 2 days, they just say they are waiting for some letters from the vendor. They never give any details of what letters or anything else for that matter.

I’m concerned whether they are really going to do anything about the RFE or not. They are not being transparent about anything. They don’t respond to emails. Is there a possibility of fraud here? Is there anything I can do on my behalf to expedite the visa approval process?

Your employer has days to respond to a RFE. I think 2 months is too late. Check if there is a any status change on the USCIS website.

Hi,
Thanks for responding…
The status still shows RFE. The employer told me that they have 90 days to respond.

I don’t have any knowledge of what is actually happening in the employer’s side. Would it be a good idea to speak to an immigration lawyer myself?

Yes, Depending on the complexity the time may vary.

you can talk to the attorney and see if that helps. Generally an attorney can’t hide any details from the beneficiary (you).

We don’t have direct contact with the attorney who has been handling our RFE. We always talk to the HR of the consultancy. When I asked them for contact details of attorney who is handing my RFE, they told that they cannot do that because that’s confidential.

I’m really getting anxious now as it’s almost deadline now. Do you think it would be a good idea to speak to any other immigration lawyer (other than the attorney who has filed my RFE)? If not, what else can i do from my side?

Third party immigration lawyers can’t help you unless they have full info on your case. unfortunately, It looks like the only way you get any info is through your HR.
