EB1 or EB2 ?

Hi,

I am on L1 B which is already expired and waiting for my extension approval. In case my extension gets approved, I can stay until June 2017. I have over 11 years of IT experience and planning to get GC.

Would highly appreciate if you can provide some information on questions below.

  1. In which category i should ask my employer to apply my GC. I have worked as Team Lead at offshore and was leading team of 20+ resources and later at onsite was leading 30+ resource at multiple locations.

  2. What happens if by L1 expires in by June 2017 and there is no update on my GC application ? Whats the legal/right way continue my stay in US ?
