DS160 Job Title - H1B Petition

Hi,

I have a approved H1 and need to go for stamping. My petition was approved for Business Analyst I role. Recently was promoted to Business Analyst II with slight increase in salary. Most of the job duties remain same. What should I enter for current role in DS 160. I have already submitted the form based on old title.

If I need to alter DS 160 , can I change information by retrieving the application and updating the confirmation number on the visa appointment.

You need to enter what was in your H1B petition. That’s what USICS approved and you are going for stamping. Check with your attorney, if there needs to be any amendment because of the change and then modify accordingly.

Yes, you can try to use that to change by using the application confirmation number…if not, you may need to create a new DS-160 form.
