DS-160, Sponsor in India for I-134?

Hello,

I am confused by this option under travel information, person paying for your trip. If I choose Other Person, I need to submit a I-134 form?

Can this other person be in India (parents)? Or can only those living in US currently eligible to sponsor? How does this work?

Person paying for yr trip can be in India or US.

I 134 is now not required. Simple invitation letter from that person confirming that he would pay for yr trip and expenses in US- would be enough.

However visa officer has to be satisfied about geniuneness of case
