Drop Box Eligibility for H1B?

Hi All,

I would like to take experts opinion before booking Interview slot for H1B interview in India.

My new H1B petition got approved with the same employer that I first came to USA in 2015. But when I filed my extension of my first H1b in December it was refused due to the employer-client relationship. This is the second client that I have worked during my previous H1.

Now I got my H1 approved with the same employer and the first client that I have entered in USA in 2015. So I wanted to know if there is any chance that I would be eligible for visa waiver program or not(as I had a refusal in last 1 year)

Please advice.

Visa refusal causes ineligibility for dropbox. From your post it looks like 797 petition was denied but you never were denied H-1B visa stamp in the passport. In that case, you are still eligible for dropbox (provided other conditions are satisfied).
