Does CWOP stamp on last expired visa affect the dropbox appointment for the new visa?

Hello,

I am going to travel to India in few days for stamping via dropbox appointment. I have a valid i797A but my previous visa has been expired more than 12 months ago. Dropbox eligiblity has been increased to 48 months.

I have been reading online that CBP is randomly checking and putting a CWOP stamp on the expired visa. My question is even if the CBP is putting a CWOP stamp on the expired visa would that affect the dropbox appointment solely based on this reason?

No this shouldn’t affect your dropbox eligibility.
