DOB correction in I-797 and i-129

HI Saurabh,

While filing i have given wrong format of DOB (dd-mm-yyyy)(India format) instead of USA format (mm-dd-yyyy).

Now my both documents i-797 and i-129 contains wrong dates.

However I entered USA last week and at time of port of entry officer asked me to correct the same on i-797 while port of entry.(Thank God he granted me VISA).

Now My I-94 contains correct date same as my passport.

My Question is how to correct the same on i-797 and i-129? whats the procedure for the same?

Employer needs to file H-1 amendment to get the DOB corrected in 797. It is ok for I-129 to have the incorrect DOB.
