Do they compare different variants of Ds-160?

I was comvicted 9 years ago in my country with a not serious crime - health injury for 1 year using suspended sentence. In the very first variant of the application it was listed. But after i have changed my mind and made a new one without this fact. The appointment is not set yet, both of the applications are submitted. Will they compare that fact in two applications in spite of if the only single is listed in appointment settings? What should i do better?

You should only have the truth entered in the application. If caught, you maybe denied entry for a certain number of years. Nobody is going to compare the forms, they will just look up the DS160 attached with the appointment.
